Sunrise and Sunset 一線之間

The Victoria Falls is a waterfall located in southern Africa on the Zambezi River between the countries of Zambia and Zimbabwe. The falls are the largest in the world.

維多利亞瀑布（Victoria Falls） 位於非洲三比西河的中游，尚比亞Republic of Zambia與辛巴威Republic of Zimbabwe之間，是世界三大瀑布之一。它寬約1.7公里，高約128公尺。

The falls are formed as the full width of the river plummets in a single vertical drop into a transverse chasm 1708 meters (5604 ft) wide, carved by its waters along a fracture zone in the basalt plateau. The depth of the chasm, called the First Gorge, varies from 80 metres (260 ft) at its western end to 108 metres (354 ft) in the centre.

The main streams are named, in order from Zimbabwe (west) to Zambia (east): Devil's Cataract (called Leaping Water by some), Main Falls, Rainbow FallsEastern Cataract (the highest) and the Eastern Cataract

維多利亞瀑布準確來說是一個瀑布群，最寬處為1708米，最高處108米，年平均流量約934立方米/秒，由『魔鬼瀑布』、『馬蹄瀑布』、『彩虹瀑布』、『主瀑布』及『東瀑布』共五條將近百米的大瀑布組成。1.5億年以前，當時地殼運動所造成的岩石斷裂谷正好橫切三比西河，河水直接瀉入長72公里、寬度25～75米的峽谷，形成了維多利亞瀑布。

瀑布的水流從350英尺(315米)滴落的聲音在一英里之外都可以聽得到。瀑布聲是這裡唯一的聲音也是最大的聲音。

非洲的維多利亞瀑布因景象壯觀，是世界著名自然景觀之一。位於瀑布頂端、天然形成的一個游泳池，被稱為世界上最危險的游泳池——“魔鬼池”。
